How to start RPA
How to start productively use digitral workforce in your company
Realistic vision of RPA
The correct approach to RPA implementation in any company isn't «patching» the weak processes, but full-scale routine tasks automation strategy. The strategic approach to robotization can lead to better company flexibility in a long term, thanks to workforce digitalization.

Among other positive impacts of RPA there are: cost reduction, productivity increase, business-process acceleration.

On the other hand, RPA implementation can provoke a number of different difficulties, the most significant of which is - sabotage by employees. The usage of robotization often leads to the shift of corporate values, business-model alteration and horizontal staff movement within departments.

That's why we are ready to support you during the first steps of RPA implementation, assisting in overcoming the above mentioned obstacle and many others.
RPA BEST PRACTICES
The points where you really should start looking for possible RPA usage.
Learn and understand your current processes
One of the most important factors for RPA success is the vision of processes «as is» and «to be». Except for process transparency, the change management system should be implemented which will warn the RPA department regarding all the changes made to the software used within the company..

Manage expectations and determine success indicators
The expected commercial (or any other desired) effect should be calculated prior to the implementation. Even though such statement is applicable to any software integration, it's twice as important for RPA due to the technology specific which at it's core replaces the employees but not updates the processes.
Build an RPA Center of Excellence
RPA CoE (Center of Excellence) - is an instrument which enables the better approach to RPA at strategic level. The CoE can include the employees responsible for: business-process analysis, operational model development, robot configuration and optimization, coordination with other company departments etc.

Create an adequate environment
It is important to prepare the prosperous basement prior to RPA implementation. The basic IT-infrastructure will be required for full-fledged R&D and testing, which should be separate from production. You may need even more servers in future once you'll start working with robot backups and security.

TYPICAL STAGES OF RPA IMPLEMENTATION
1
Proof of Concept (PoC)
The PoC stage assumes picking up few processes suitable for RPA and their automation (even in test enviroment is enough). The goal of this stage is to prove that the RPA-based solutions are really suitable for your company's processes.
2
Training
Once the PoC stage is finished successfully and your company has picked the course for robotization, it's a good idea to choose the people who will be responsible for the RPA and train them. Usually you can get some basic courses from your RPA-vendor or integrator.
3
Planning
When your company with the assistance of 3rd party integrator or without it starts the full-scale implementaiton of RPA within the company, you should pick up and range the best processes for RPA basing not only on the commercial effect but also the resulting level of automation and integration speed. This stage assumes engagement of IT specialists as well as they should design the suitable testing scenarios, exception management procedure etc.
4
Robot Development
The name of the stage is self-explanatory. During the development period the algorithm for the robot is designed. Though you should keep in mind following the best practices of robot-development which could be shared with you by your RPA-vendor or certified consultants..
5
Production
By this moment you already have robots ready but not yet implemented into productive environment. This process is one of the most importatnt stages of RPA implementation. This is the moment when you can face unexpected exceptions, errors and other. The team responsible for RPA should pay particularly close attention to robots and results of their work during this stage and promptly fix the code or switch off the robots in case they ruin the process.
6
Scaling
Once the first projects are successfully implemented and tested, it is time to switch attention to different processes within the company (e.g. in other departments) which require the automation as well. RPA scaling is a relatively simple process. It is expected that you are able to use some components of the earlier designed robots in order to boost the development of newer ones.
